Souq.com has stepped up the competition on the e-commerce front in the region by launching the “Same day delivery” service. This service is currently offered mainly by Amazon in major cities and guarantees same-day scheduled deliveries to consumers. Souq.com is the largest e-commerce platform in the Arab World and is also known as the Amazon of the Middle East.
The service will kick off in Dubai, with plans to expand to other cities in Mena in the future.
