Social Media “Influencers” Now Need a License in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates now requires all social media influencers, or in other terms those conducting commercial activities through social media to register for a government-issued license. The move aims to professionalize and regulate the industry according to the National Media Council. Dubai to Build World’s largest Waste-to-energy Plant
