After Saudi Arabia & the UAE announced that they’re severing diplomatic relations with Qatar for “harboring a multitude of terrorist and sectarian groups that aim to create instability in the region”, all major UAE airlines including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia announced that they are suspending flights to and from Doha from Tuesday morning. Qataris were also given two weeks to leave the UAE, and Qatari diplomats 48 hours.

Things have been escalating real quick following “comments allegedly made by Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Hamad Al Thani hailing Iran as an “Islamic power” and criticizing US President Donald Trump’s policy towards Tehran” [Source: CNN]. Qatar claimed that the website was “hacked” and the report fabricated.
